What Our Clients Say

"I have worked with many companies providing services in the Seattle area for now 69 years. Out of all the companies I have worked with Queen Anne Upholstery is at the top for quality work, excellent service, and very trustworthy. I have worked with them for over 30 years and have never once been disappointed. They are not only the best firm to work with, their service level is as good as it gets, and the quality of their work is truly fantastic and way better quality than anyone else in the Pacific NW. I give them my very highest recommendation. I give them a triple A rating and you will be so glad you hired them to do any upholstery work and all the other services they offer. I PROMISE YOU!" - Steve F.
"We recently brought in four dining room chairs for restoration. They had been my wife's grandmother's set and had been with her for nearly 40 years. We figure the set had been in the family since the late 1920s or early 1930s. We met with Henryk to explain what we wanted and were shown a large number of fabric options and services. There was never any pressure, and we learned a lot about what could be done with them. He helped us throughout the process of fabric choices and assured us that they would be well cared for. When picking them up, I was warmly greeted by the head of the residential division, who wanted to know the story behind the chairs! Leaving, I realized I had just experienced a company that "gets it." From the first person I encountered to the quality of work done, I could not have been happier." - Gary B.
"Fantastic experience with a family heirloom. I had Queen Anne Upholstery refurbish my husband's, great grandfather's armchair. A piece with significant family nostalgia, so this had to be done just right. The designer carefully listened to my vision and expectations. I needed to take a saggy, gold brocade covered eyesore of a chair and turn it into a beautiful, updated piece that still retained the comfort and character that my husband's family expected. She patiently guided me through the design process, offered helpful advice as I snuggled and bounced on so many cushion options and expertly pulled fabric samples that matched my myriad criteria. As a result, the chair is PERFECT, down to the carefully preserved wear patterns on the wooden handrests left by previous generations. Could not be happier. Worth every penny." - Amanda J.
"We had a 100+ year old dining table and six chairs refinished and reupholstered. The set belonged to my wife's great grandparents. Queen Anne Upholstery did a fantastic job. The set looks perfect. We visited the shop to look at multiple stain and finish options. The shop crew was very helpful selecting a final stain and finish. I have used them since this project and will continue as needed. Great company." - Mary H.
"Queen Anne Upholstery reupholstered my great-grandmother's furniture for me. The service was excellent, from helping me choose the right fabrics for my lifestyle & budget, to working with my busy schedule for pick-up and delivery times. More importantly, they did an amazing job restoring the furniture with its original character, giving these beautiful pieces a new life for the next two and three generations. So very pleased!" - Donna C.
"Henryk was extremely helpful in hunting down hard-to-source fabric and the workshop performed miracles to restore our kitchen dining chairs. Everyone was knowledgeable about dealing with some specific challenges presented by the furniture pieces. The job was completed quickly and flawlessly. I have worked with Queen Anne Upholstery previously, and each time they have transformed a tired piece of furniture into something beautiful and comfortable. I will continue to return to them for outstanding service and workmanship." - Lizzy R.
"We had six antique dining room chairs reupholstered (seats) and the wood back and frame touched up, not refinished. They came back looking almost as if the wood had been refinished. The new upholstery was installed perfectly. The chair frames were tightened up a bit so are more solid feeling. The chairs are at least 100 years old and now look excellent once again. While this type of work is not inexpensive, it was well worth it. The chairs look excellent. The service was great. The work was done in the time frame promised and at the quality expected." - Randy S.
"Queen Anne Upholstery also refinishes doors! We just had them finish very large double front doors to our home in Kirkland and they look better than new! They put up a temporary and secure door while they refinished our doors. The doors are from Italy and not easily replaceable. The finish is better than the original and they look absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend them if you need to have any door refinished. Henryk is the person I spoke with who highly encouraged me not to let our house painters do a wood refinishing job. He was so right; You need people that specialize in wood refinishing. They also completely reglued the wood pieces which were starting to come apart and shined up the metal ornamentation. The installer was meticulous and also put in new weather stripping. Very professional service at every level. Thank you, Queen Anne Upholstery!" - Jeanne M.
"Absolutely love the results (down to every detail) of the refinishing and reupholstering of our antique chair. We've held onto it since 1995 for the sake of family nostalgia. We recently shared the chair's renewed look with our 94 y/o aunt (through a computer program). This chair had a lot of loving sentiment for her as it originated from her aunt who she lived with during part of her childhood. She asked to see it again during our conversation and was so pleased we saved it! I highly recommend Queen Anne Upholstery and Refinishing for any project! I also asked them to simultaneously refresh a vanity stool that was my mother's. They turned these two pieces into treasured works of art!" - Mary S.
"I had a chair and ottoman that had belonged to my father. I didn't want to part with it although the leather was very worn and ripped and the chair was very loose and wiggly. The designer was very helpful. She assisted with selecting the fabric and then communicating when it was discovered that a part to repair the chair needed to be researched to see if it was still available. Delivery was on time and courteous. The chair and ottoman look wonderful!" - Diane W.
"The refinished tops are gorgeous! They were black & the sales representative helped me select a warm walnut stain for tops while I left legs black. It came out just beautiful! The couch is rather large & the sales representative was very clear about the number of rubs suggested for seating choices. I was determined to have ticking and so picked a lesser number of rubs but ordered a second set of cushion covers to extend the life of the new upholstery. I think the recovered couch is beautiful! It was expensive but I love the feel & shape of my couch & for me it is worth the cost. The three pieces were completed by the deadline." - Frances F.
"Highly professional with outstanding quality. Wow! What a job. Two table tops refinished, a chair re-upholstered, five doors including custom screen doors, and outdoor patio furniture. All like new. The complete restoration work will last me another 25 years. Well worth the money spent." - Ron K.
"This place is AMAZING! They did a BEAUTIFUL job on our 100+ year old family chair. They communicated and sent pictures through the whole process of what was happening with our chair. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any of your needs! Great people to work with! Made me matching pillows also!! THANK YOU so much for the updates while working on it!" - Mary H.
