Come along for a mini tour of Queen Anne Upholstery, where craftsmanship, care, and collaboration come together to breathe new life into your furniture. Whether you’re an interior designer, a commercial project manager, or a homeowner with a beloved piece that needs new life, we’re excited to show you how we combine craftsmanship, care, and creativity to transform furniture from the inside out.

A First Look at Our Space

Our building spans nearly 50,000 square feet and is shared with our sister company, QA Group. From the outside, you’ll see signage for QA Group – but step inside and you’ll find Queen Anne Upholstery at the heart of it all. We operate alongside each other – sharing talent, resources, and a dedication to high-quality work.

Inside the Lobby

As you walk through the front doors, you’re greeted by a custom bench built by our own team – a small but powerful example of our attention to detail. Running up the staircase wall is a timeline that tells the story of our company. It begins at our founding in 1936 and follows our journey to where we are today. We loved digging into old photos and milestones to create it – and we always encourage visitors to spot the founder’s photo.

The Furniture Showroom

At the top of the stairs, you’ll find our furniture showroom. This space is mostly commercial in focus and showcases our range of capabilities. You’ll find an abridged fabric library with swatches, finish samples, and various styles of seating to test. Designers can explore foam densities, compare materials, and get a sense of how their project could come to life – all in one space. While we welcome everyone to come in and view our fabric selections, please note that our residential sample options are limited, as the showroom is primarily tailored to commercial projects.

As you move through the office, you’ll see our mission, vision, and values clearly displayed. These statements serve as a daily reminder to our team. They reinforce our commitment to quality work, customer satisfaction, and a focus on improving the end-user experience.

The Workshop – Where the Work Happens

The heart of our upholstery shop tour is the shop floor – where transformation truly begins. Our workspace is divided into key areas, each playing an important role in the process. Every project starts with a full briefing. Each upholsterer is brought up to speed on the details, ensuring they understand the scope before any hands touch the piece. We carefully review before photos and client notes to either preserve the original design or bring new ideas to life. In our sewing department, the selected fabric is turned into custom patterns, cut with precision, and prepped for upholstery. Every stitch, seam, and corner is finished by hand with expert attention to detail. Once complete, each piece goes through a final quality check before it’s cleared for pickup or delivery.
